United Trust Bank has appointed Andy Porter as senior director to its business development team.
Porter joins with 25 years experience in real estate finance with lenders including RBS and Barclays. Most recently, he worked at Close Brothers as business development director.
In his new role, Porter will assist housebuilders and developers operating across the South of England to secure funding for residential and resi-led mixed use developments for both build to sell and build to rent sectors.
Porter’s appointment comes after Andy Thomson was hired to the newly created role of senior director of operational real estate.
