TSB has hired Craig Calder as secured lending director, effective from 24 March.
Calder brings 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, most recently serving as head of secured lending at Virgin Money.
He has also worked at Barclays, Alliance & Leicester and NatWest.
In his new role, Calder will be responsible for the design and delivery of mortgages, general insurance and mortgage distribution to meet customer needs.
Calder’s appointment follows product director Ian Ramsden’s decision to retire and mortgage distribution director Roland McCormack’s decision to pursue new opportunities.
Current head of mortgage intermediaries Beverley Bradford will move into an expanded role as head of mortgage distribution, where she will run key national accounts as well as continuing to oversee the current distribution team.
TSB customer banking director Adam Lishman says: “We are delighted to welcome Craig to TSB and are confident that his excellent industry experience will further strengthen TSB’s focus on growing our support for customers.”
