Quilter Financial Planning has hired Zara Bray as distribution director for its mortgage network.
Bray joins from Legal & General Mortgage Club where she was most recently head of strategic accounts.
She had been at Legal & General for over 20 years holding several roles, including regional sales manager and head of broker and propositions.
At Quilter Financial Planning, Bray will lead the strategy for the firm’s mortgage and protection propositions, reporting to managing director Stephen Fryett.
She replaces Charlotte Nixon, who left the business to join Aviva at the beginning of the year.
Quilter’s mortgage network advises on over £20bn of lending a year.
Quilter’s Fryett says: “Her extensive experience will be invaluable in continuing to provide high-quality support for our mortgage and protection advisers, ensuring they continue to have access to a best-in-class proposition.”
Bray plans to help the business push forward with, “its growth ambitions while supporting advisers.”
