L&C Mortgages has appointed Gemma Bacon as its chief marketing officer.
Bacon has considerable experience across the financial services industry, most recently as the chief marketing officer at Zenith, and prior to that working at Mortgage Advice Bureau.
In this new role she will be a member of L&C’s executive committee reporting in to its chief operating officer. In the role she will be responsible for overseeing L&C’s marketing, partnership and communications teams.
This follows the recent appointments of Graham Nisbet as chief technology officer and Steve Maydew as chief financial officer — both of whom will also join the mortgage and protection broker’s executive team.
L&C chief executive officer Mark Harrington says: “These recent appointments underline our determination to maintain the momentum and further improve L&C’s position as a leader in the market.
“[Bacon’s]appointment confirms our intention to continue the development of our marketing strategy with technology, innovation and new ideas.
