Market Harborough Building Society has launched a lending advisory panel and made Danny Belton its first appointment.
Belton joins from Mortgage Advice Bureau where he had served as head of lending since August 2023.
His role as head of lending at MAB ended in late December last year.
Previously, Belton spent 35 years working at Legal & General, 25 of which were spent overseeing Legal & General’s Mortgage Club.
Commenting on his appointment, Belton says: “Joining the lending advisory panel is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organisation like Market Harborough.”
“I’m eager to share my expertise and help shape the future of its mortgage business by advising on innovative and effective lending strategies and initiatives.”
The new panel aims to foster collaboration between internal teams and external experts and drive the society’s lending business through innovative propositions, distribution strategies, and process transformations.
